These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TrimTrend’s websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
TrimTrend provides a platform that helps customers discover and book appointments with beauty and grooming professionals and discover products from brands and suppliers. Depending on your role (customer, provider, supplier, brand, admin), your available features may differ.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required by law where you live) to use the Services.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date (including business details if you are a provider/supplier/brand).
3. Bookings, payments, and refunds
Bookings
When you request or schedule an appointment, you agree to provide accurate information and comply with the provider’s reasonable policies (for example, arrival time requirements).
Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers (for example, Stripe). Payment methods, holds, and settlement timing are subject to the payment provider’s terms and your financial institution.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on the provider’s cancellation policy, the type of service, and applicable law. Where a refund is approved, it may take time to appear depending on your payment method.
4. Marketplace orders (if applicable)
If the Services include marketplace purchases, products may be fulfilled by suppliers/brands. Shipping, returns, warranties, and product-specific policies may vary. TrimTrend may facilitate communications and dispute resolution but does not guarantee third-party performance.
5. User content and conduct
You may be able to submit content (such as reviews, photos, portfolio items, messages, and posts) (“User Content”). You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to post it.
You agree not to:
- Violate any law or infringe any third-party rights.
- Harass, abuse, defame, or discriminate against others.
- Post misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content (including fake reviews).
- Attempt to compromise the security of the Services or other users.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or circumvent access controls except as permitted by law.
6. Provider, supplier, and brand obligations
- Maintain accurate listings (availability, pricing, service/product descriptions, and policies).
- Comply with applicable licensing, health/safety, and consumer protection requirements.
- Deliver services/products as described and communicate promptly with customers.
- Handle taxes, insurance, and regulatory compliance applicable to your business.
7. Third-party services
The Services may integrate with third-party services (such as payment processors, maps, analytics, or social platforms). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their terms and privacy policies.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by TrimTrend or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrimTrend disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. TrimTrend does not guarantee that providers or suppliers will meet your expectations, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrimTrend will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to TrimTrend in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or $100 if you have not paid anything), unless applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Services or other users. You may stop using the Services at any time.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
